Location

Varkala is a developing beach resort in Kerala, with its most beautiful and still very natural beaches. Even Tourism has left some signs in the area of Varkala; we promise you in our guest-houses you will still find the unique flavour of real India. Varkala is divided in two parts. One area is the cliff side where the tourists meet and live. Here you get all the facility every tourist place will provide. The other part of Varkala is the small town Varkala itself. Here you will get the possibility to get the real Indian life with chaai shops and all the smells and taste you have to get to feel India. In Varkala most of the national trains are stopping and therefore you will be well connected with Trivandrum (capital city of Kerala), just 45 km away from Varkala. The airport is about one hour by car away from Varkala.

Climat

The very best time to travel to Kerala is between October and March. But the days in August are also very pleasant and mild, sometimes with a hour or two of rain during the day.
